Amoeba Productions Inc., a brand new performing arts nonprofit in New York City, is excited to announce Amoeba Productions Website Launch, showcasing our commitment to emerging artists, diversity, inclusivity, and the creation of accessible art.
Amoeba Productions Website will launch on Monday, July 8th, our website will feature our donation page going live and working in collaboration with our social media presence!
Amoeba Productions is excited to share more about its mission, vision, values, and programming on our brand new website. Learn more about Amoeba’s upcoming productions this summer and fall, and its goals for its inaugural year! Additionally, you can make tax deductible donations to Amoeba Productions on the website. Transparency is a huge priority as well as making our resources accessible to all. The website and instagram are both valuable tools to showing our community who we are, and being there for them in return.
About the Artists:
Amoeba Productions Inc. is proud to feature a talented board of directors who are emerging artists themselves. These artists come from diverse backgrounds and bring unique perspectives to their work, reflecting our commitment to inclusivity and innovation.
Louisa Nickel (She/They) – Artistic Director
A playwright and producer from rural Kansas. They strive to make theatre that offers tangible agency. Playwright credits include, A Collection of Small Things (New York Theatre Festival), The Anabaptist Play (Frigid NYC), Falling Out (Theatre Write Now), and Mr. Muggs (Road Theatre Company, Under Construction). Other credits include, Director of Theatre Workshop Series at Fort Dix Refugee Center (Bond Street Theatre), Assistant Costume Design, Into the Woods (Epic Players), and Wardrobe Supervisor The Office Parody Musical (The Theatre Center). @lovely_louisa_
Rachel Pevehouse (She/Her) – Managing Director
A Brooklyn-based writer, actor, and theatre artist from Saint Louis, MO. She graduated from Millikin University with her BA in Theatre, where she acted in several plays, served as dramaturg, worked in the box office and script library, and studied for a semester in London at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre. A confident and curious collaborator, with a passion for new works development and telling women’s stories. She is currently developing her own one-woman show, which she previewed last fall at Arts on Site NYC. When she’s not coordinating Amoeba meetings or writing, she can be found playing with her orange cat, doing yoga, or reading from her stack of New Yorkers. @rachelpevehouse
Mario Greiner (He/Him) – Producing Director
A producer, creative force, and business consultant from Germany. With a strong background in business consulting at the big 4, e-commerce, and project management, he’s seamlessly moved into the entertainment scene. Starting out as an actor, Mario has now been busy producing industry readings, and shows at the Tony award winning 54 Below. He brings a global vibe with his fluency in German and French, along with solid skills in project management and digital infrastructure. This provides Mario with a unique take on the industry and we’re set to make a big impact with his diverse talents and passion for excellence. @themariogreiner
Jennifer Molson (She/Her) – Marketing Director
A New York City-based performer, singer, director originally from Hollywood, FL. She graduated from New York Film Academy for Musical Theatre. She has worked professionally in multiple regional houses across the country as well as Off-Broadway for a six month run with The Office Parody Musical. Jen has produced two shows at the Tony award winning 54 Below, social media managed for multiple companies, and is a singing server at the world famous Ellen’s Stardust Diner. She is so passionate about new works and thrilled at the possibility of creating accessible opportunities right here in the city! @jennifermolson
Jamie Gamonez (She/Her) – Audience Engagement Director
BFA from Millikin University with a degree in acting and a minor in communication. Since moving to New York in 2022, she has worked a variety of jobs such as a theatricals assistant for Capezio, a project assistant for Kevin Duda Productions, an usher and lobby attendant for Symphony Space, and a gallery associate for MoMA PS1. When she’s not working, you can find her auditioning, songwriting, or creating content for her social media platforms for all to enjoy. Jamie is a firm believer in the power of human connection and hopes to get as many people connected through Amoeba! @jamiegamonez
Taiheid Bradshaw (He/Him) – Director Of Community Engagement
Born and raised in Brooklyn, Tai is a native New Yorker with a passion for community service. Graduating from SUNY Oswego with a BA in Political Science, Tai used his skills learned in the classroom to better engage and connect with those in his community to make a difference. @taiheid_bradshaw
Morgan Haney (She/Her) – Director Of Programing
A director, actor, and wearer of many theatrical hats, including Director of Programming with Amoeba! She values working on projects that honor the contributions of emerging artists and that provide engaging experiences for our communities. Favorite directing projects include Twelfth Night, In the Next Room or the vibrator play, and columbinus. Morgan is a proud graduate of Oklahoma City University for Music Theatre and Directing. @mo.haney
Matthew Wechsler (He/Him) – Director Of Artistic Development
A New York City-based Actor, Director, and Singer, bringing over 15 years of experience in the performing arts industry. He holds a BFA in Acting from Pace University and attended the Professional Performing Arts School. He spent years teaching theater and creatively contributing to more than 15 different shows at the French Woods Festival of the Performing Arts summer camp. As a dedicated advocate for social change through theater, Matthew is driven by a passion for creating impactful works that resonate with audiences and provoke meaningful dialogue. He hopes to support Amoeba with everything he’s got, and is very enthusiastic about the company’s present and future journey. @mattwex
