Developing New works with purpose
Our Emerging Playwrights Lab in New York City is dedicated to fostering new writing and creating opportunities for artists to grow and connect. This lab focuses on the development of plays by up-and-coming playwrights, with multiple cold readings throughout the process to explore and develop the scripts.
The Festival of new works will take place April 30th in Midtown Manhattan.

- Cold readings take place on Wednesdays until April 16th 2025
- University Settlement, 273 Bowery, on the Lower East Side
- You may participate in one or more cold reads

Amoeba Productions is seeking actors to join the cast for our Emerging Playwrights Lab. This is an exciting opportunity to bring new, original works to life and collaborate with emerging voices in theater.
