A Creative Adventure in Tompkins Square Park
On July 18, 2025, Amoeba Productions transformed a section of Tompkins Square Park into a colorful maze of art, music, and imagination for The Art Crawl: a free community event celebrating creativity and connection.

From 1 to 4 PM, visitors explored a sequence of unique artist booths, guided by a playful map of riddles and stamps that led them from one creative stop to the next. Each booth offered something different, from crafts and photography to live music and interactive experiences, all created by emerging New York artists.
Booths included “Lover of the Year,” “Color Creatively,” “Sirota,” “Have You Ever Seen the Grain,” “Winding Worries Away,” “Moral Panic Preschool,” “Paige Neumayer,” and “Stretch with Emma.” Featuring the following artists: Isabella Sirota, Akili Bandele, Brody Rogers, Emma McGill, Emma Vance, and Paige Neumeyer brought their talents to the park, engaging audiences of all ages.

The crawl ended with a hands-on button-making station, where participants, including many enthusiastic kids, could design and customize their own Art Crawl buttons to take home as souvenirs.
Events like The Art Crawl embody Amoeba’s mission to support emerging artists and foster community through creativity, reminding us that art isn’t confined to a stage, it’s everywhere, waiting to be discovered.
